Linda Elave first joined Paradise Foods back in 2002, when the company was known as Arnotts Biscuits Limited. Starting as a packer in the factory to now holding the position of Costing Clerk, Linda has been dedicated and committed to Paradise Foods for the past 19 years.

Linda’s long history and extensive experience within Paradise Food’s is a testament to her work ethic and dedication.  From humble beginnings in production as a packer where she worked for four years before moving to Quality Assurance. After eight years, Linda has progressed to the Finance department, where she has been working as a costing clerk for the past six years.

Her dedication was recognized when one of her managers recommended Linda to attend the International Training Institute to get a diploma in accounting.

“With my experiences in the process line, I was fortunate to be recognized by my manager who recommended me through company sponsorship, to complete a diploma in accounting at the International Training Institute In 2020”, says Linda.

With 20 years just around the corner for Linda, we asked her what makes working at Paradise Foods enjoyable and gained the most relatable first answer ‘biscuits for lunch’. Following the biscuits, Linda listed key aspects of employment conditions that make it worth the time invested, including pay review, superannuation, and savings. But her the most rewarding thing about her time here at Paradise Foods is that she ‘built a house while working with Paradise Foods Limited”.

Encouraging the younger generation of Paradise Foods Limited, Linda says “Paradise Foods is a good company to work for because every employee is treated fairly, by friendly and God-fearing people”.
