Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the Regional Business Budget, develop strategies to grow sales, ensure standard call coverage and Execution Targets are achieved. Ensure the timely and effective execution of Sales and Marketing Activities within the region are accomplished and providing regional reports and updates. This role requires a highly motivated person to also develop and mentor the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Have proven track record in leading teams. Fully understand and can demonstrate the basic leadership traits needed to manage teams.

Sales Target Management:  

  • Able to break down target amongst customer and staff in your region and monitor performance to meet target.

Strategy & Operational Planning:

  • Can develop and execute strategy in your region to grow sales archive stretched execution targets. Fully understand and can perform Coverage Planning

Forecasting:

  • Can develop and monitor forecast in quantity and NSV for this region and can track and report progress to this, tracking assumption and factors driving or affecting forecast.

Business Acumen:

  • Has a fair idea of how the business operates, understand the business S&OP process-from Sales Forecasting to Supply Chain and Production planning through to logistics. Have sound understanding of Inventory Management.  A good knowledge of Wholesale and Retail business operation. Know the basics of development of commercial proposal.

Commercial Skills:

  • Understand and can calculate pricing structure from Supplier to Retailer. Know Margin and Markup calculations.  Can articulate customer Pricing Structures. A sound understanding of a typical FMCG P&L structure. Understand Product and cost structures.

Tracking and Monitoring:

  • Take passion in accountability (Monitor to Measure) Holds Team accountable to their targets and milestones and works with them for the betterment of the team.

Qualification& Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
  • Have more than 5 to 7 years similar role experience in a FMCG Sector.
  • Must demonstrate the basic leadership traits needed to manage teams.
