REFRIGERATION COORDINATOR
Paradise Foods Limited has vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Refrigeration Coordinator. Reporting to the Refrigeration Engineer and based in Lae. The position aims to attract vibrant persons who are results driven.
The Refrigeration Coordinator – Northern oversees and supervise the small projects, maintenance, and improvement of cold chain assets to maximize asset availability. He/ She will manage the maintenance of all refrigerated containers, display freezers, and beverage coolers for MOMASE, Highlands, and NGI region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guarantee his/her covered assets are safe to use and compliant with safety standards.
- Ensure his team understands and follows the company’s safety and quality policies.
- Guarantee all his/her covered assets are within the temperature specifications
- Review customer complaints and non-conformance reports related to his/her scope and act.
- Supervise equipment downtime and preventative maintenance. Ensure readiness of resources for each maintenance task.
- Create and review work orders, policies, standard operating procedures, and documents related to day-to-day operation and maintenance of cold chain assets.
- Monitor and improve asset availability of his/her covered assets
- Monitor and improve the maintenance cost of his/her covered assets
- Ensure his team understands and follows the company’s procurement policies.
- Monitor and improve his/her team’s performance regularly
- Supervise skills matrix assessment and training requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade Certification in Refrigeration Mechanic or equivalent (APTC) or bachelor’s degree in engineering
- More than five years’ experience in HVAC/R equipment with supervisory roles.
- Experience in capital expenditure projects and improvement.
- Able to understand a computerized maintenance management system
