Paradise Foods Limited, PNG’s nambawan food manufacturing company, has demonstrated its commitment to community welfare by visiting 2-villages along the Central Province last Saturday (8.07.23). Raika Section 8 of Hula and Makerupu village reached out for water and food supplies as they continue to recover from the floods earlier this year. The company generously donated cartons of its popular paradise food and beverage supplies to assist the affected communities.

The recent floods in the region have caused significant devastation, resulting in the destruction of water wells and food gardens in the affected villages. Recognising the urgent need for support, Paradise Foods stepped forward to provide assistance and contribute to the recovery efforts.

Minnie Vagi, the Women’s representative for Raika village section 8, expressed deep gratitude and appreciation on behalf of the community for Paradise Foods’ kind gesture. She acknowledged the significance of their timely support, given the challenges the villagers currently face.

“We are very grateful and appreciative of Paradise Foods that have come to bless us because we just went through a natural disaster, and all our water wells and food gardens are destroyed,” said Ms Vagi. “Though we are going through some hectic times, we are thankful that Paradise Foods Limited has come to save us.”

Ward Councillor of Makerupu Village Kulu Kema thanked Paradise Foods also for the support of water and cartons of biscuits.

Nicola Ani, Sponsorship and Promotions Manager at Paradise Foods Limited, highlighted the company’s ongoing commitment to assisting the communities in which they operate. She emphasized that their actions align with the company’s mission of providing affordable, nutritious, and trusted products to feed the nation.

“Paradise Foods is always happy to help and assist communities in which we work, fulfilling our company mission of feeding the people of the nation with affordable, nutritious, and trusted products,” said Ms Ani.

Paradise Foods Limited has consistently demonstrated its corporate social responsibility by engaging in various goodwill initiatives. Their dedication to supporting the communities they serve reflects the core values of the organisation and its commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of Papua New Guineans.
