Paradise Foods Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Pat Niune as National Security Manager.

Although a qualified teacher, Pat has spent most of his career as a seasoned professional in the security services. Over the last 20 plus years, he has served Porgera Joint Venture Barrick (BNL) Limited in a number of capacities spanning from Training Advisor, Community Relations & Engagement, Governance Risk and Compliance and most recently as Senior Security Manager. He has travelled extensively overseas for trainings and seminars and has been a loyal member of the RPNGC Reserve Constabulary for 38 years with a current ranking of Chief Sergeant.

In this role, Pat is tasked to oversee all security operations of the company – heightening our security standards and procedures across all sites. Primarily, Pat’s goal is to create and preserve an environment where employees, visitors, contractors and company property and assets are safe and well-protected.

This role will also incorporate Paradise Food’s safety, health and environment responsibilities.

Pat will further design/develop, schedule and deliver in-house training on HSE&S policies, procedures, Management Systems and evaluate on-the-job trainings on Workplace Safety and monitoring systems consistent to ensuring the safety and welfare of site personnel and achieving HSE&S objectives.
