Paradise Company Appoints Neil O’Bree as Group Operations Manager

Paradise Company recently announced the appointment of Neil O’Bree as the new Group Operations Manager. Neil successfully held the interim GM Operations role in conjunction with his Laga Plant Manager role since January this year.

Neil has made a significant contribution in the 6 months he has been acting in the role. His initial role was with a service organization focused on design, manufacture, and distribution of contract packaging equipment with a specific focus on blow moulded product and equipment.

It was through this engagement with the FMCG sector that he moved to Coca Cola Amatil for a period of four years where he was accountable for manufacturing in two plants, one in Lae and the other in Port Moresby. He has worked continuously with Laga since November 2015 with his substantive role until January 2022 being that of Plant Manager, Laga Industries with site management responsibilities of the blow moulding, water filling and ice cream manufacturing.

In his new role as Group Manager for Operations, Neil will be responsible for delivery of the Manufacturing Operations Strategy for the business and ensure the efficient and safe running of all our manufacturing facilities at Paradise and Laga, as well as the management of our capital expansion projects.
