Meet Cathy Along, PFL’s Enterprise Resource Planning Project Manager.

Cathy’s journey with PFL (previously Laga Industries) started in 2017 as an accountant. Through her dedication and hard work, she quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to Chief Accountant at the Taraka site in Lae on April 2021.

Cathy has been an asset to the financial aspect of PFL, having contributed immensely to the company’s growth. During her tenure with PFL, she has seen the transition and sale of Laga Industries to Steamships and now PFL. She now serves as the ERP Project Manager after her secondment in March, a role that has given her the opportunity to excel in her career.

As the ERP Project Manager, Cathy is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the ERP system in the business. She has set a personal goal to put her head down and get to work, committing herself fully to her role. Cathy is grateful for the opportunities that PFL has given her and is keen to contribute to the company’s growth in her new position. Her unwavering dedication to work and her commitment to excellence will undoubtedly be of immense value to the company as it continues to expand its operations.
