
We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated Finished Goods Coordinator who will be based in (Lae), reporting to the (Logistics Manager).
The Role: (Job responsibilities)
- Inventory Management & Control. Maintain accurate records of finished goods inventory. Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliations to ensure zero variances. Implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles to reduce waste and ensure product quality. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in collaboration with warehouse staff.
- Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment. Ensure all inbound and outbound finished goods are properly received, stored, and dispatched. Supervise order picking, packing, and loading to meet delivery deadlines. Coordinate with transport and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries. Monitor warehouse space utilization and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Process Compliance & SOP Adherence. Enforce compliance with warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure all warehouse activities follow company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements. Conduct regular warehouse audits to identify process gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting & Documentation. Maintain daily reports on stock movements, dispatch schedules, and order fulfillment status, provide inventory reports to management and other relevant departments, ensure all documentation, such as delivery dockets and invoices, is accurately processed.
- Team Coordination & Training. Supervise warehouse staff and assign daily tasks, conduct training for warehouse employees on inventory management, safety procedures, and operational efficiency, foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the warehouse team.
- Minimum: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Additional certifications in Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, or Logistics.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in finished goods management.
- Experience in inventory control, stock reconciliation, and ERP/WMS software.
- Supervisory experience is a plus.
