Prime Minister James Marape visited Paradise Foods Limited today (11/05/2021) as he stopped by the factory in Port Moresby to meet with Group CEO for Paradise Company Ltd James Rice, to discuss growth plans and the creation of new jobs.

During his visit the Prime Minister met with staff throughout both the Paradise Foods and Queen Emma factories as he toured the facilities of the Port Moresby factory.

With Prime Minister Marape a strong advocate for downstream processing of Papua New Guinea’s natural resources, his visit to Paradise Foods Limited brought him pleasure in seeing the opportunities for the local market. He was also enlightened to see so many Papua New Guinean’s employed and treated equally throughout Paradise Company Ltd.

Prime Minister Marape was also on hand to witness one of the first production runs of Paradise Foods new Breakfast Biscuit, Smart Start which will be on shelves early next week.
