Paradise Foods Limited hosted one of the remotest school in the Central District

Oroi Primary School is located in one of the most remote parts of the Kairiku/Hiri District in Central Province. The current condition of the school is not uncommon in most of the remote parts in Papua New Guinea where road access is a major issue.

The drive down from the school to Port Moresby usually takes about 4hours. The teachers and students had to wake up very early in the morning at around 2am to make this trip.

The school comprises of not more than 100 students making up grades; 3, 4, 6, 7 & 8 and has a total of 4 teachers. So this visit was very big thing for them as it was also the first time for most of them to set foot outside of their communityParadise Foods Limited was honoured to host the school visit and we hope that this exposure will motivate them to reach for the stars and to believe in their dreams!
