We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the immediate vacancy of Engineering Stores Supervisor reporting to the Engineering Manager and based here in Port Moresby.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee spare parts management including close monitoring and tracking of all spare parts and being responsible to ensure the safe keeping of all parts in and outside of the engineering store.  
  • Prepare R&M budget report monthly for the Engineering, Production, Packaging, Snacks and Chocolate workgroups costs.
  • Prepare weekly PO generation reports and spare parts level.
  • Raise purchase requisitions in Syspro and submission of completed documents to Finance and Procurement Departments.
  • Lead stock take monthly and produce monthly stock level and cost report.
  • Plan and manage regular stock take to ensure reconciliation between MEX records and actuals.  
  • Organize daily the spare parts according to stock codes ensuring tidiness and neatness for easy retrievals of spare parts.
  • Ensure minimum and maximum stock thresholds are always maintained for the Production, Packaging, Snacks and Chocolate machinery.
  • Manage open order report and provide commentary and improvements
  • Ensure all MSDS’s are registered, updated and placed with its respective chemical products or substances.
  • Ensure all accounts with key suppliers are up to date and maintain supplier relationships     
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the store, spare parts and workshop on a daily basis.    


Key Requirements

  • Higher School Certificate – Grade 12 (minimum)
  • PETT Certificate in a technical trade is advantageous
  • At least three years relevant experience in a similar role handling engineering parts
  • Understanding of CMMS MEX system is highly desired
  • Proficient in Syspro
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be open to work during weekends or ad-hoc hours, if required.
  • Valid PNG Driver’s License Class 3
