We are seeking to recruit a meticulous and proactive Raw Materials Coordinator to manage and oversee the supply of raw materials for our production processes. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient and timely availability of materials, maintain accurate inventory records, and work closely with suppliers and internal teams to optimize supply chain operations. This role is critical to maintaining seamless production and achieving our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.

Logistics Coordination:

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage to maintain material quality.

Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, material usage, and procurement activities.
  • Use inventory management software to track and report on inventory status.

Quality Assurance:

  • Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly.

Cost Management:

  • Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to minimize expenses.
  • Monitor and report on budgetary performance related to raw material procurement.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the production team to understand material requirements.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payment of suppliers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, procurement, or a similar role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
