Transaction Supervisor

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated Transaction Supervisor, reporting to the Distribution Centre Coordinator.
The Transaction Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Mt Hagen Distribution Centre, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and smooth warehouse operations.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and maintaining inventory control systems
- Lead and supervise warehouse teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while maintaining a productive team environment
- Resolve operational challenges and support day-to-day warehouse activities
- Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and shipping times to ensure operational objectives are achieved
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the development of team members to meet productivity and accuracy targets
About You
The successful candidate will possess:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- Additional certification in Logistics, Shipping, Inventory, or Supply Chain Operations will be an advantage
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry
- Experience in ice cream warehouse management is desirable
- Strong warehouse leadership and team management skills
- Experience using Syspro or other ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
