About the Role

As our R&D Technologist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of product development projects across our snacks and beverage categories. From concept development and prototyping through to factory trials and commercialisation, you will play a key role in driving innovation, product renovation and cost improvement initiatives.

Working closely with Marketing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement, you will help deliver products that meet consumer expectations, quality standards and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new products from concept through to commercial launch.
  • Execute the innovation pipeline in line with business strategy.
  • Drive product renovation to improve quality, taste, texture and shelf life.
  • Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities through formulation and process optimisation.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute factory trials and scale-up activities.
  • Manage multiple R&D projects while ensuring timelines and deliverables are achieved.
  • Provide technical support to Operations, Quality, Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
  • Maintain accurate product development documentation and ensure strong stakeholder alignment throughout each project.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related discipline.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, preferably within snacks, extrusion or beverages.
  • Strong understanding of product development, formulation and ingredient functionality.
  • Experience conducting factory trials and working with manufacturing processes and quality systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, regulatory requirements and packaging principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
