Packaging Manager

Paradise Foods is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Packaging Manager to join our team in Lae. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and plays a key part in guiding successful packaging operations and contributing to the company’s growth.

The Role

As Packaging Manager, you will:

• Participate at management level in planning and implementing packaging operations systems
• Identify industry trends and business opportunities, and develop strategies to capitalize on them
• Provide leadership based on staff maturity and workplace demands
• Build and maintain a collaborative team focused on operational excellence
• Maintain excellent communication with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and staff
• Drive departmental improvements, including cost savings, waste reduction, downtime reduction, quality enhancements, and improved attendance

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar management-level role in a manufacturing environment
• Membership in a relevant professional body
• Current Class 1 driver’s license
