Paradise Foods Limited sponsors AFL PNG emNAU Niukick Program with K300,000

The Paradise Foods Limited has pledged K300, 000 to AFL PNG to sponsor its emNAU Niukick Program for another two (2) years.

On Friday February 28, 2020, The Group CEO for Paradise Foods Limited, James Rice presented the dummy cheque to the Chairman of AFL PNG Mr Ekonia Peni at the Rita Flynn indoor complex.

“Last year we sponsored with K150, 000 and this year we will be committing another K300,000 for the next 2 years. We are really happy to do this because the program reaches out to almost 80,000 kids in PNG and we aim to reach out to more with this continued support” James Rice, Group CEO, Paradise Foods Limited.

He further added; “the sponsorship enables PNG AFL to grow the program by sending a team of experts across the country to help develop the code.  For us it gets our brand out in front of the people and reassure the public of our main goal which is to feed the people of PNG, reminds people we are there and at the same time help the community.”

The development of the game started in Port Moresby and has spread to Mt Hagen, Lae, West New Britain, East New Britain, and New Ireland Provinces. This sponsorship will help reach out to other centers as well.

“It is quite noble to see a local company like Paradise Foods Limited maintaining this vital sponsorship. The renewal of the sponsorship shows the impact of our work reaching new heights. Hopefully, if we can reach over 100,000 kids within the next 2 years then it will be a big achievement for us and everyone involved” Ekonia Peni, Chairman AFL PNG.
