As part of the company’s corporate responsibility in giving back to the community, Paradise Foods in association with Career Trackers took on four interns in late 2021.

The interns were final year students from The University of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby and the University of Technology in Lae.

Lawrence Yalongi a Business Management student at UPNG was attached to the HR and QECC Departments, Loi Wai a Mathematics & Information Technology student also at UPNG to the IT & Fleet Departments, whilst Moreen Andrew a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) was attached to the Research & Development Department.

The only intern from the University of Technology in Lae, Sandra Tobby, a Mechanical Engineering student was attached to the Engineering team.

The 11 week Internship program ended with the end of internship presentation on Thursday 3rd February 2022.

The presentation marked a significant moment in the students learning development.
