Paradise Foods Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Chocolate Production Manager to lead operations at Papua New Guinea’s first chocolate production facility. This leadership role is responsible for managing the end-to-end chocolate production process, ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement from bean to bar.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the PNG cocoa value chain while leading a dedicated team committed to excellence, innovation, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate the chocolate production team to achieve operational targets
  • Ensure consistent production of high-quality chocolate products in line with company standards
  • Oversee daily production planning, scheduling, and workflow management
  • Maintain strict compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Monitor production performance, troubleshoot challenges, and implement corrective actions
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all production staff

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in chocolate, confectionery, food manufacturing, or FMCG production
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing production teams
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality standards
  • Good understanding of production processes, safety requirements, and quality systems
  • Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
