REFRIGERATION COORDINATOR

Paradise Foods Limited is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Refrigeration Coordinator to join our team, based in Lae and reporting to the Refrigeration Engineer.

The successful candidate will oversee and supervise small projects, maintenance, and improvements of our cold chain assets (refrigerated containers, display freezers, and beverage coolers) across MOMASE, Highlands, and NGI regions, ensuring maximum asset availability and performance.

Key Accountabilities:

✅ Ensure all assets are safe, compliant with safety standards, and within temperature specifications.
✅ Supervise and monitor preventative maintenance, equipment downtime, and asset performance.
✅ Review customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
✅ Develop and review work orders, SOPs, and maintenance documentation.
✅ Monitor and improve maintenance costs and team performance.

Qualifications:

🎓 Trade Certification in Refrigeration Mechanic (APTC) or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
🔧 5+ years’ experience in HVAC/R with supervisory responsibilities.
📊 Experience managing capital expenditure projects and using computerized maintenance systems.
