Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (OHSE) Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies through collaboration with site management.
- Carry out regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company SSHE standards and national regulations.
- Review overall HSSE performance, benchmarking against global standards and industry best practices.
- Document and maintain auditable SSHE system procedures.
- Deliver competency-based training to internal teams, contractors, and visitors.
- Oversee OHSE incident management and investigations.
- Promote health awareness programs in collaboration with the site nurse.
- Lead emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Manage environmental responsibilities and compliance.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
- A team-focused mindset with strong personal discipline and motivation.
- Membership in a relevant professional body (desirable but not mandatory).
