This position is Lae based and reports to the Procurement Coordinator – Non-Stock.
The Role:
- Ensure Paradise Foods Limited Procurement Policy is adhered to by all internal stakeholders when purchasing.
- Facilitate Indirect overseas and local purchases for all PFL sites.
- Ensure all Purchase Orders issued timely
- Update Open orders monthly for reporting to Procurement Coordinator
- Sourcing alternative suppliers for non-stock purchases
- Review Open PO on a weekly basis, overdue or aged PO must be highlighted to Stakeholders to address for closure.
- Review PR, Cancellation, Amendment Trackers – weekly basis
- Effectively address/resolve any issues that arise and relevant to the assigned category
- Vendor management for non-stock; including on-going Supplier Monitoring and Evaluation
- Prepare and or Review Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Processes where tasked, with recommendation to Sourcing & Procurement Manager where the need is identified
About You:
- Minimum of Grade 12 Certificate with 3 years of relevant work experience or Diploma/Bachelor in Business
- At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing or Supply Chain
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and exceptionally well in cross-functional engagement
- Able to combine and critically analyze multiple data sources
- Open minded with strong ambition to develop further skills and progress
- Keen attention to detail
- Energetic, creative and takes initiative
- Able to manage priorities and time to meet deadlines
- Open minded with superb interpersonal skills
