We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated Training Officer who will be based in Lae and will be reporting directly to the Training & Development Manager.
The Role:
Are you passionate about training, efficiency, and excellence in site operations? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Training Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and industry standards.
- Assess training needs and work with management and operations to explore solutions to operational specific site challenges.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, to impart practical skills and knowledge to site personnel.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and enhancement.
- Collaborate with site management and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in site operations, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or related industries with 3-5 years f work experience in a similar role or function
- Basic understanding of safety regulations, operational processes able to facilitate training effectively
- Certified Trainer with TOT Certification or Cert IV in TAE
- Passion for learning, teaching, and driving positive change in the workplace.
