The Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver on regional budget numbers, develop strategies to grow sales, ensure standard call coverage and execution targets are achieved and develop and mentor the Sales team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the Regional volume and NSV targets – minimum budget
  • Delivering the Regional Execution plan on national or Regional activities to best achieve targets
  • Breaking down and cascading targets to the team
  • Communication to the full Regional Team business updates, monthly updates and new business initiatives
  • Manage team and available resources to deliver agreed targets or milestones.
  • Build team capability and recruitment of right staff into team

The successful candidate for this position must have:

  • A Degree in Business Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Be able to break down targets amongst team and monitor performance to target
  • Be able develop and execute strategy in region to grow sales, achieve stretched execution targets and fully understand and perform coverage planning.
  • Be able to develop and monitor forecast in quantity and NSV for region, track and report progress to this and track assumption and factors driving or affecting forecast.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading teams with the ability to coach and mentor people.
  • Ability to easily build rapport with customers and create business partnerships
  • An overall strong business acumen
