On Friday, 19th July 2024, the Santos team visited the Paradise Foods Kawai Factory, marking a significant day of learning and engagement. The team was welcomed with the signature “Paradise Pasin,” beginning with a heartfelt welcome speech by Jane Wickham, our Group Manager for People & Culture, and an opening prayer by Company Chaplin Ps. Israel Arua.

The visit provided the Santos team with an in-depth understanding of our operations. They were deeply impressed by the production workers’ dedication and the factory’s efficient processes. A highlight of the day was the sensory testing of our EmNau Mumu Pik and the new Teisti Biscuit, where the team enjoyed firsthand the flavors and quality of our products.

The tour continued at the Queen Emma Chocolate Factory, where the Santos team experienced the chocolate-making process. They were particularly excited to taste samples of the new Queen Emma Chocolate, produced using our state-of-the-art chocolate refiner machine.

This visit was part of the Santos Social Club Committee’s initiative to foster knowledge and understanding of the business landscape in Papua New Guinea. The committee aims to visit prominent businesses in Port Moresby to gain insights into their growth, sustainability, and contributions to the nation’s economy.

We are proud to have hosted the Santos team and look forward to future opportunities for collaboration and learning.
