We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, qualified and experienced individual to join Paradise Foods Limited to ensure the flow of materials necessary for all manufacturing operations.

This position is Port Moresby based and reports to the Supply Chain Analyst – IPB & Research.

The Role: 

  • Periodically track and record inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
  • Determine reorder points and reorder quantities to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and marketing teams to understand promotions, seasonal trends and new product launches that may affect demand.
  • Coordinate with the research & development (R & D) team for new product development and ensure availability of materials for trials and production.
  • Liaise with the Logistics team to ensure timely delivery and proper storage of materials .

About You:

  • Degree in Business Management or Supply Chain would be an advantage.
  • 3 years + experience in a similar role preferably in the FMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
  • Critical thinker with ability to think critically and rationally about every task at hand.
  • Has good understanding of FMCG business operations.
  • Computer literate with advanced excel skills.
  • Has the ability to meet deadlines, knowledge of manufacturing and knowledge of S&OP processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious with a strong desire to learn and progress.
  • Organizational skills to stay organized and keep production running. Able to juggle priorities and manage time to meet deadlines.
  • Good team player.
