Paradise Foods Limited recently celebrated the conclusion of its Graduate Development Program (GDP) with the recognition of five exceptional graduate trainees. Having successfully completed a comprehensive two-year rotation across various departments, these graduates are now poised to make significant contributions to the company’s continued success.

The accomplished graduates who emerged from the program are Hyraina Kintau, a double degree graduate in Business (majoring in Marketing) and Communications from Griffith University and is the only female in the GDP. Douglas Sukina is a Tourism and Hospitality graduate hailing from Divine Word University. Loi Wai is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Papua New Guinea. Konia Ben is the holder of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Technology. Vano Kingsley is an Accounting and Management graduate from Pacific Adventist University. These graduates will now assume pivotal roles within Paradise Foods Limited, reflecting the diverse skill set that each brings to the table.

Hyraina Kintau, who will take on the role of Brand Marketing Executive, expressed her excitement about the program, emphasizing the invaluable experiences gained. She noted that the program not only broadened her network but also provided her with a hands-on understanding of operations, including visits to the biscuit and chocolate factories.

Douglas Sukina, stepping into the role of Trade Marketing Representative-General Route, shared his journey from the lecture room to the real-world job environment. He acknowledged the initial challenges but highlighted the support from experienced colleagues. One of his standout moments was the Hagen trip, where the Field Pro app was launched with the Highlands Regional Sales Team.

Konia Ben, who is currently based at our Taraka Factory, commended Paradise Foods Limited for not just being a manufacturer of quality products but also for being a cultivator of quality professionals. He emphasized the significance of the GDP as a transformative platform for the development of fresh graduates, providing unparalleled workplace exposure and on-the-job training.

Loi Wai, who is set to become an Assistant Internal Auditor, expressed his delight in working in Production Planning. Dealing with numbers and data analytics, he found fulfillment in communicating with ground-level managers.
