Smart Start Breakfast Biscuit, proudly manufactured by Paradise Foods Limited conducted the Southern Region draw for the 2023 Smart Start School Promotion today at the Paradise Foods Limited Head Office in Port Moresby. The draw was conducted in the presence of police, staff & media personnel to announce the winner of the Southern Region Smart Start School Grant and draw the Individual winners. 

The 2023 Smart Start School Promotion ran nationwide from the 20th of February to the 17th of April and was further extended by two weeks to officially conclude on the 1st of May, 2023. Over 200 registered schools from 21 provinces participated in the promotion. 

The Collect and Win Promotion gave registered schools a chance to win one of four major school grants – one per region, worth K40,000.00 each and individuals a chance to win one of five hundred school backpacks with assorted merchandise & stationary to the value of K200.00 each.

The school per region with the highest number of valid entries automatically wins the Smart Start School Grant. In the Southern Region, 71 schools registered and over 4,000 entries were collected. Koeabule Primary School in Alotau, Milne Bay Province topped the Southern Region with the highest number of entries, winning the Southern Region School Grant. Followed closely in second place was Karea Primary School, Gulf Province and Sevese Morea Primary School, NCD.

Other regions will be conducting their draws this week once quality checks are complete. Paradise Foods Limited and Smart Start Breakfast Biscuit would like to sincerely thank all the schools that registered in the promotion this year.
